Italy’s Maria Elena Camerin, Switzerland’s Stefanie Voegele, Poland’s Urszula Radwanska and Hungary’s Melinda Czink have secured the final four places in the main draw of the Moorilla Hobart International, after the completion of qualifying today.

Following her defeat of world No.30 Francesca Schiavone in the second round of qualifying yesterday, Radwanska had to fight to make it through to the main draw, pushed to three sets by Canadian Stephanie Dubois.

Dropping the first set, Radwanska dug deep in a tiebreaker in the second set before taking a break in the third to win the set and the match, 2-6 7-6(3) 6-4.

However the path gets no easier for the 18 year old who is up against the No.8 seed, Aleksandra Wozniak, in the first round.

Camerin defeated Alla Kudryavtseva in straight sets, maintaining her undefeated record against the Russian.  She will now meet Virginie Razzano in the first round of main draw.

Voegele was too strong for her opponent Lourdes Dominguez Lino (ESP) in the opening set, only dropping one game.  However the Spaniard fought back in the second, eventually going down in a tiebreak in the second set.

Argentine Gisela Dulko now waits for Voegele in the first round.

Czink took control of her match against Edina Gallovits (ROU) early, taking the first set 6-2; however Gallovits fought back in a far more evenly matched second set Czink took the match 6-2 7-5 and with it the final place into the main draw, where she will come up against Tathiana Garbin (ITA).
