Action heats up at the Domain

Quarterfinal action gets underway at the Domain Tennis Centre tomorrow, with six of the top eight seeds vying for a semifinal place.

Second seed Shahar Peer booked her spot in the final eight defeating Jelena Dokic in straight sets tonight.

Peer will face No.5 seed Carla Suarez Navarro, who was too strong for Alicia Molik today.

Top seed Anabel Medina Garrigues will take on [8] Gisela Dulko, fourth seed Alona Bondarenko will come up against [7] Jie Zheng and Sara Errani will aim to end the five match winning streak of qualifier Kirsten Flipkens.

Matches get underway at 11am with Bondarenko and Zheng first up on centre court.  They will be followed by Flipkens versus Errrani and Medina Garrigues versus Dulko.

Peer and Suarez Navarro with headline play tomorrow night from 7pm.
