Volunteer applications open

Applications are now open for a wide range of volunteer positions at Moorilla Hobart International 2011.

We are looking for dedicated and enthusiastic individuals with a diverse range of skills and experience to volunteer at the Moorilla Hobart International 2011, in the following areas:

  • Courtesy Car Drivers – transporting players, guests and officials between the airport, official hotels and the Tennis Centre. Courtesy Car Drivers are required to be fully available from 3 January–17 January 2011.
  • Corporate Attendants – assisting corporate clients with seating and delivery of food esky’s to corporate boxes. Corporate Attendants must be fully available during the entire tournament period (7 January–15 January 2011).
  • Corporate Bar – servicing the beverage needs of our corporate guests. Duties include taking orders, serving and general duties. Volunteers in this area must be at least 17 years of age. Corporate Bar volunteers must be fully available during the entire tournament period (7 January–15 January 2011).
  • Court Services – assisting in the preparation and cleaning of the courts, scoreboard operation and ensuring player needs on court are met. Court Services volunteers are required to be fully available from 5–16 January 2011.
  • Clean Team – assisting with the general cleaning of the corporate boxes and site in-between sessions. Clean Team volunteers must be fully available during the entire tournament period (7 January–15 January 2011).
  • Merchandise Sales – assisting in the merchandise stall selling event merchandise. Merchandise Sales volunteers must be fully available during the entire tournament period (7 January–15 January 2011).

All volunteers are required to attend the compulsory briefing session to be held on Saturday 4 or Sunday 5 December 2010. Volunteers in areas excluding Courtesy Car Drivers and Court Services will be required to have full availability during the entire tournament period (Friday 7 January–Saturday 15 January 2011).
