Australian duo Casey Dellacqua and Samantha Stosur will open proceedings on day two of the 2014 Hobart International.
Dellacqua, a wildcard entrant, features in the opening match on centre court at the Domain Tennis Centre. The world no. 142 plays 19 year-old Belgian qualifier Alison Van Uytvanck, the world no. 112. It will be the first meeting between the pair.
Stosur, the top seed, is next on court, facing American qualifier Madison Brengle. It will be Stosur’s first match against the world no. 150.

Russian fourth seed Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova’s match against American Alison Riske follows, before second seed Kirsten Flipkens of Belgium closes the day session with her first round clash with New Zealand’s top player Marina Erakovic.
The night session at Domain Tennis Centre features defending champion Elena Vesnina of Russia, who faces a dangerous opening round opponent in Puerto Rican Monica Puig.
Australian wildcard Storm Sanders will then make her WTA main draw debut with a clash against China’s Shuai Peng, a finalist in Shenzhen last week.
Tennis fans are in for a treat with some of the world’s best players also in action on the outside courts. Stars in first round action include 2005 Hobart International champion Jie Zheng, fifth seed Flavia Pennetta, seventh seed Klara Zakopalova and Australian wildcard Olivia Rogowska.
A stand out match on Court Events Tasmania will be a clash between Brit Laura Robson and 2012 Hobart International Yanina Wickmayer. It is the fourth match on the day’s schedule.
