A revised 2014 Hobart International qualifying draw has been released.
It follows the withdrawal of Switzerland’s Stefanie Voegele, a quarter-finalist at the Brisbane International this week, from the tournament with a viral illness.
Romanian Alexandra Cadantu, who had been the top seed in the qualifying field, takes Voegele’s place in the main draw.
Qualifying matches begin today with a field that ranges from grand slam doubles champions to rising junior talents.
Reigning US Open doubles champion Andrea Hlavackova from Czech Republic is one on the bigger name players in the draw, which also includes Spain’s Garbine Muguruza, a quarter-finalist in Auckland this week.
